As stated the module is .760 and .761 only compatible, these functions are in the Groups module pnuserapi.php file for versions .760 and .761
Did you have the Groups module installed and activated ?
pnavatar rely on the Groups module to get the list of all groups and of groups the user is members of.

i didn`t activate the groups mod
it works now
