Seeing the number of hack attempts floating around and even several (unsuccessfull until today but security is a neverending quest) attempt on this site in the error log, I decided yesterday to turn register globals off but unfortunately this site isn't running an up to date .760 version of PostNuke due to the lot of customizations I made to core files !! so I was knowing this would cause some problems. Thanks for reporting this one. I upgraded the Downloads module to the .760 final version and this solved the problem.
Full upgrade to .760 of http://www.vedrine.net is scheduled for september

The avatar problem was the only thing, that prevent me to migrate from pnphpbb to pnforums.
