I posted this on pn site and am hoping that someone will help me even though I did not pay attention in french class...

"Works great until you try to add another block anywhere on the site, then you get
"Parse error: parse error in /home/ourpact/public_html/modules/weather/pnblocks/weatherpp.php on line 156

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare weather_weatherblock_init() (previously declared in /home/ourpact/public_html/modules/weather/pnblocks/weather.php:44) in /home/ourpact/public_html/modules/weather/pnblocks/weather.php on line 41"

I thought I did something wrong, but this is a new install of pn (last weeks release) and plain jane modules and theme.
(The support forum is in french, and i did not pay attention in college, well to the lessons that is... he he)

Anybody have this error? Will there be english support? This is an awesome tool, especially the user interface part!

    Thanks"

Any ideas? I uninstall and remove all tables, then reinstall and still the same thing.... to add a new block I had to uninstall the module, then reinstall after I add the block the error happens after I add with this
    "/index.php?module=Blocks&type=admin&func=new"

    Hello,
As you can see on the left column, I put 2 weather blocks and everything is working. I will investigate to try to understand what happened on your website.

    Oh yes
    - Go to the administration panel
    - click on the Blocks icon
    - IMPORTANT if there is a "Show all blocks" on top, be sure to click on it because if not you will see only activated blocks !!
    - delete ALL module=weather, name=weather blocks
(in fact normaly this step is unnecessary as deleting the module will delete all the associated blocks but as you have a problem with blocks I want to be sure ...)
    - return to the administration panel
    - click on the Modules icon
    - click regenerate
    - normaly you should see only one line with module name = weather & display name = weather (NOTE : with a w not a W) did you see anything other ? If yes you have a previous version not uninstalled or badly uninstalled !! Tell me and I will see how to take care of the problem.

    - If you see only the normal line click on deactivate,
    - click on Remove normaly this will delete all the tables in the database, if you want to be sure and if you know how to use phpmyadmin you can verify that you mysql database doesn't contain any table with name like :
    yourprefix_wthr_...
(your prefix is the common prefix to all your tables, nuke_ if you didn't change it when you installed postnuke)
    - now completely suppress the weather folder in the modules folder
    - upload a fresh one obtained from one of the 2 download sites for weather 1.30
    - go to the administration panel
    - regenerate, install, activate the module
    - go to the weather administration panel
    - install at least one city package
    - choose a city for the default forecast (Change default local weather)
    - verify that images directories suit your needs
    - choose the method of getting the data (if you choose weather.com XML data feed you will need a partner id and authorisation key)
    - verify that the module is working http://yoursite/index.ph&module=Weather&func=main
    or http://yoursite/index.ph&module=Weather&func=forecast
If everything is correct go to the administration panel and click on blocks
    - click on new block
give it a title and choose weather/Show the local weather as block
    click on commit changes
    click on commit changes
If the firsty block is ok redo the same operations for another one just changing the title of the block.
    Hope that works !!

    Hi all!

I installed the weather module, regenerate modules, initialise, activate in administration!

The weather icon is available, but i cant get it on the site..

Everytime i get in the administration and click on weather, i get this error:

    Bad arguments for API function-5

Could anyone tell me what that is about?

    Im using PostNuke-0.726-1.

    Plz help.

    Kind Regards

    Morpheus

    hello,
Thanks you for including the exact message error, the number (5) is important for me to know what is going wrong.
My guess is that you click on "Current Serttings" but as you have no city selected for default weather this is why you get this error (Maybe the doc is unclear on this point) . So
    1) if you aven't already done it, click on "Install city package(s)" and install at least one city package.
    2) click on "Change default local weather" and select region, country, subdiv, city and Temp and wind speed units (important : at last don't forget to click on the "Save changes" button)
The error should go away after that.
You can access the weather forecast with the url http://yoursite/index.php&module=weather&func=main
If something goes wrong, post here the details.
    Jean-Michel

    Heya,

weather seems to install fine, activates and all that, but I still don't get a admin panel in PostNuke. A quick check on the database shows no tables were created either. Is there a SQL file missing from the install?
