Hi, After I updated my postnuke 0.75-site with the new security patch I have experienced some odd problems:
- the patch also interfears with the block in the Weather module. The link on the block is pointing to:
--> ..//www.2ofus.dk/index.php?module=weather&func=forecast&city=DAXX0018.
I have my postnuke installed in "www.2ofus.dk/postnuke/..", so it should point to:
--> ..//www.2ofus.dk/postnuke/index.php?module=weather&func=forecast&city=DAXX0018
BUT the really ODD thing is that the link is only wrong when I run danish language (I am running a danish site) - it WORKS when I change to english!
Before I copied the files from the patch to my site, I backed up the old files. I have tried to remove the patch my restoring the old files, but it does not help with the above mentioned problems. I am thinking that maybe something in my database needs to be deleted/refreshed?
I hope someone can help me with these issues! :)
Sincerly

Hello,
When I try your website I have the same problem both with english and danish. Probably the block was cached in one language but now there is no language difference.
I can't explain your problem because the block call the pnModURL PostNuke function to construct the URL as it should be and this function was not changed in the security upgrade.
So for the moment I have no explanation and unfortunately no solution !!
The best I can think is to suppress the block and recreate it in Administration -> Blocks but I can't see why it would have any effect on this problem !!
Sorry I will investigate but I have no clue !!

Well now I am quite sure this is not a weather block problem because in danish the pnFlashGames block have also the same problem.
Of course the PNphpBB2 bloc don't have the same problem because it is an "old style" block so it don't use the pnModURL function.
So there is something before these blocks wich is breaking some PostNuke functions.
Try to move these blocks from right column to left (try both left top place and left bottom place) and see if the probleù dissapear.
if it is OK when the weather or pnFlashGames are at the last place in the left column then the problem is in the center column (PageEd ?)
if is OK when weather or pnFlashGames are at the top place in left column but not when they are at the bottom, then the problem is with a block in the left column.
Suspect every non core block or module (for instance to see if PageEd is causing the problem, try to replace it by a core module on your homepage, to see if a block is causing the problem, suppress it)
Also how is displayed the chart.dk thing at the bottom ?
Once you have isolated the problem, contact the author for a solution. -

Thanks for your quick reply. I have narroved down the problem to this:
When moving the block to the left (both top and bottom) the link works.
When moving the block back to the right (also both top and bottom) link doesn't work.
When removing the center block (pagED) links work in the left.
Conclusion must be that pagED is messing links up.
I will contact the makers of pagED - thanks a lot for your help Vedrine!!!
