As I have said, due to a hard disk crash on the server, some messages were lost.
Here is a summary of the missing messages :

I had a similar problem using the {phpcomic}
setting in the main menu. I looked at the link
text and saw that module=phpcomic was showing up
as module-phpcomics with an s, i just manually
replaced it without the s and it worked.

now. Trying to figure that one out.

This is what I get when I choose any comic:
all the permissions are correct but I get no
image, do i have to have like bbcode or something
else enabled?

phpcomic don't need any other module to run
You have to install other modules only if you want
to add some features
- EZComments add the possibility for visitors to
comment the comics
- pn_bbcode is only usefull if you have EZComments
activated to permit the use of bbcodes in the
comments
- pn_bbsmile is only usefull if you have
EZComments activated to permit the use of smiles
in the comments
- Ratings add the possibility for visitors to rate
the comics.
But none of these modules is really needed for
phpcomic to run.
The most obvious cause of images not displaying is
caused by administrators forgetting to authorize
the img tag
So the first thing to do is to go to
Administration -> settings
scroll until you see all the lines for each html
tags (this section is titled
HTML tags allowed
in posts)
look for the line with
![]()
and verify that the
LAST column is checked (it is very important that the last
column is checked not the middle one !!)
If it is not, correct the problem.
If the path to the directory where comics are stored is correct,
this diectory correctly CHMODed and the img tag allowed with parameters
I can't see any reason that would prevent comics from displaying.

That was it....I had it set to the middle button.
Thank you very much!
Might want to add that to the documents though.
I'll continue to let you know of any
bugs/comments if you would like, not sure if you
are still taking beta testers or not.
