General Information:

**** Make a backup of your Database!!!!! ****


- You can import the data from CmodsDownloads 1.9.6 & UpDownload 2.3
- You can upgrade from Downloads 1.3.1 to Downloads 2.2
- To use the search function under pn 0.8 rename pnsearchapi08.php to pnsearchapi.php


Required Addons:

- You need the actual Ajax Support Package for proper use of the screenshot function

Notice:

- There is no support for Downloads 2.2 & PN 0.8!


Folder Structure:
-----------------

--root
--modules
--Downloads
--pnTemp
--downloads_cache
--downloads_screenshots
--downloads_upload


Installation:
-------------

- copy the module folder to your PostNuke root directory onto your server
- in the administration of postnuke choosen Modules --> Regenerate
- Initialize and activate Downloads 2.2
- Make your settings in the administration of the module


Upgrade:
--------

- copy the module folder to your PostNuke root directory onto your server
- in the administration of postnuke choosen Modules --> Regenerate --> and upgrade the module


Folder Permissions:
-------------------

- set the permissions of the following folders to chmod 777

--downloads_cache
--downloads_screenshots
--downloads_upload


IMPORTANT:
----------

Before you start the upgrade make sure you delete all .htaccess files under your upload folder of CmodsDownload or Updownload.
All means all htaccess files in all subfolders of your upload folder!


If you delete the module all tables in the database will be deleted !!!!!!!!!!
